NE Oklahoma Chicken Stock - Let's Plan!

PoCo have we started a running list anywhere of who all is going, and maybe a description of what they plan on bringing or is it to early for that. Just thought maybe we could look at it and then look and see what those people have in case we want to pm them and make some private tradeing/buying deals to bring to the meet.

Reservations for space in the barn or on the grassy patch makes up my list of attendees so far. I thought I'd ask people to say what they are bringing about two weeks before the event so that I could make notes on a big map, a directory of sorts, to help people at the event find the spaces selling what they are interested in buying.

I like the idea of people making trades and deals before the event. That's a great idea. The map on page 1 of the thread is the most current. I update that one each time we have a new reservation. A person could look there, see who's attending, and send a PM to find out what they are bringing and make deals before the event.

If folks will send me a PM or e-mail to say what they are bringing, I can make a list and post it here on the thread, updating it as people add more or make deals.

Hi
I am new to the Okie thread and the event planning but I am here and willing to jump in. Was the 16th decided upon for the date? I see the Muskogee Fairgrounds. My name is Lori, live near Seminole. Grew up in Muskogee. Father has one of his furniture stores there.

Page 1 of the thread has a map of the building we will use, and there is a flyer just below that with all the pertinent information. Please send me a message (PM) if you would like to reserve space to set up cages. I will have a list of jobs people can volunteer for, but I don't want to put that up until about two months before event day. I'll be asking folks to say what they are bringing shortly after the jobs list goes up. That information will go into a master map of the barn, sort of like a big directory, so that attendees can see who has what where. I've had a few pledges of donations for the raffle, so I will update page 1 with that information later today. If you have ideas for the event, please post them here. This is going to be a lot of fun, and we're really glad to have gained another Okie!

Here's what is now posted under the flyer on page 1. Updates will be made on page 1 so that people will not have to hunt through the thread to find out what's going to be in the raffle.

Please send me a PM or an e-mail if you have items you would like to donate. The raffle will pay for the rental of the building and for our security officers. Below is a list of items pledged for the raffle. The list will be updated as pledges are made. Thank you, in advance, for helping make our event a success!

Raffle Donations List: Items Pledged
  1. Chicken-in-a-Basket Gift Basket: Poultry related items in a nice basket
  2. Chicken Doll: Ceramic head with a soft body
  3. Baby Piggy Doll: Ceramic head with soft body
  4. Wire Egg Basket & Bottle of Egg Washing Soap

Just looked at page one...looks like the booths are filling up quick!

Been hatching out several Belgium d'Anvers, (among other chicks) But will for sure bring a few of those...Will have all sorts of coturnix quail colors. Newest color from my own stock and some gotten from Sixshooter, should have some pure whites there...something you won't see everyday in the cot world.
