I've got a BO roo,(Neachy Peachy) we bought him as a day old baby. He's been held like the others so he would be tame. He's 13 weeks old, and has a hissy fit if you pick him up to luv on him! He fluffs his neck up and makes some wonderful screeching noises. Will he be mean or aggressive when he's full grown, or will he snap out of it?

Your rooster has become a teenager. Don't know if you have kids or not, but I can promise you that if I approached my 16 year old son to "pick him up to luv on him" in front of his female friends he would make some "wonderful screeching noises" in protest as well.

IMO, a rooster that does that is showing you that he considers you the alpha rooster. He doesn't want anything to do with you because he thinks you (as the alpha roo) are fixing to kick his butt. Love on your hens. Leave him to do his job.
