Nearly Drowned Hen

I came home to find my EE in the horse trough, still alive. She’s wheezing and breathing convulsively. Eyes closed and not really moving. Is there anything I can do?
She is doing a lot better, All we really did was put her under the heat lamp and hoped she’d survive. she’s looking a lot better now she’s a little wobbly but acting as her normal self she is no longer wheezing or making grounds I hope this helps anyone else if they’re in the same mess. She does not appear to be sick yet, The best thing to do is to make sure they’re dried off and not cold.

Thank you to my daughter for this update. Our chicken is back up and walking this morning, seeming to act fine. I don’t have any antibiotics so I hope she doesn’t get pneumonia. Does anyone know if that’s something I can pick up at a farm store?

You can check your TSC to see if they have any Fish Antibiotics (Amoxicillin). Sometimes they stock it or you can order it online depending on where you live.
