I know that brahmas and Dominiques don't create a sex link but what the heck??? 😂

First pic chicks, second mom, third is the daddy that little old man.

Am I missing something pattern wise here??

What are you asking?
Also, your baby daddy is a barred rock, not a Dominique
And I really hope you aren’t keeping those chicks in a cardboard box with no bedding.

They have bedding the cardboard was to help insulate them a bit as it got down to the low fifties and I was concerned. It has been removed. I was wondering why they have the spot on their head still because the spots haven't faded out at all. They're odd little things but cute with their feathered legs. I know that barred rocks/Dominique's tend to auto sex but these aren't purebreds. I was asking mainly if it was normal for the head dot to stay that vivid for 3 weeks.

Even with the Brahma mom?? They're still very vivid. I wasn't looking for a gender reveal, just wondering why the dots are still there. I don't know how long they stay in general but after three weeks I thought they would have faded.

Their barring won’t fade, they’ll stay barred. Barring is dominant.
