we are suppose to get snow on Sat. night so i wonder if they will cancell the swap if there is too much on the ground for Sunday?

It's supposed to be over by Sat. night, and we are only supposed to get 3-5". I would think it would still go.

Oh I hope so, but not sure how many vendors will show up in that amount of snow. But maybe since it is actually a little more south they wont get as much snow.

Got that right! Are you gonna be there Sunday too??

heh, after my dh found out i got those last 2 hens from Shay he's been keeping an eye on me! now that he is back to working a daytime job it makes it even harder for me to make any chicken show/swap plans

he said no more hatching unless i had buyers ready for them and the space, so i am on hold till the spring!

i have another hobby currently going on so i sort of need the space right now. getting my seed starting supplies in order and starting some small stuff in the house to supplement the chickies diets! got some lettuce that sprouted yesterday!

Dave, do you have a list of seeds/plants you are offering this year?

I think Dave can order any seeds from the Seed Savers Echange for you. I can't help you with their list of plants for this year though.

As usual I'm way behind in getting things going. Between the holidays, sick kids, and DH's oddball illness (not to mention the birds)
I have NO free time. Except now that is.

Funny you should ask. I am trying to get the list up on my site this weekend... just need to check it for spelling errors (sorry, I'm CDO (that's OCD in alphabetical order) when it comes to spelling errors).

Should have a list by Sunday. And Cindy is right, I can order seed from Seed Savers for you at $2.00 per pack.

You know we can start seed for you...

I may need someone to do some hatching for me...

as I may have more demand for chicks than incubator space right now, maybe we can work out a trade.

How many roos are you after?

Don't worry, last year's hatch ratios were much closer to normal.
