NEAS Meet-up's Westford ma (buy sell swap)11/4 see post #1090

Make a note. The March meeting is on the 11th,not the 4th in March.Boy it was really boring there with nothing to sell. And I have nothing this month either. What am I going to do?Maybe there will be some pheasants this month, preferably cheers, grey peacock hens or an impyean hen.Who am I kidding,no one brings the good pheasants there.

Tony, i've been wanting to ask you if in NH you have to have a permit to own peafowl? someone mentioned this to me at a swap over in ME last fall when i got my pair of cameo peas. do you know about that or do you just raise the more exotic relatives to the peas?

No,there is no requirement on any peafowl.Only native species are required to be permitted.Even though the ringneck is not a native species, the fish and game claims that they are.Seems like whatever bird you can shoot, requires a permit to raise, ringnecks, bobwhite quail, woodducks, canada geese,I'm sure there are many more.
