Ok new question. If I am looking for a full grown rooster, Ideally Barr Rock, Where would I go? I may need to find a replacement for my rooster, he is getting onery toward my 1 year old.

There are always roosters on craigslist. I don't know where you are at either. Some locals have several roosters in their flock. Many online companies sell them too. Hand raised rooster tend to be a tad friendlier.

I love love love chicken scratch poultry. Email angie and larry and ask them for the most mature rooster. Shipping is some good $ but their birds are SUPERIOR!

Thank you I have looked them up and will email them. My hens need a rooster, and the one I have is great, but this is the second time he has gotten onery.

Two. I have 2 more but I do not think they are fully mature, and they are Cornish Crosses, he is not very interested in them.

Roosters need harems. Lonely and..well. ya know. Too much energy. Lol! Which is why he might be starting to get a little agressive. They sell pullets too!
