Lincoln - Capitol area Humane society - if they don't directly accept, they DO have a partner group that does, as I have seen barnyard critters on their page, sometimes horses, pigs, chickens etc
At least you could call them and see if they can point you to a group or a more local resource.

No, tomorrow afternoon.
That should work right? A dog airline/vet crate? My thought is to not feed him in the morning and then throw a bunch of food in the crate and fingers crossed, he goes inside. He is very tame and comes up really close but I know it will not be easy
 
OF COURSE it will work!

If I was closer, I'd come over with my chicken stick and snag him for you, but you'll do fine. Could also bait him with mealworms.
Feed him a few, and toss them closer and closer to the crate. Then toss some in while he's in an excited frenzy of snack food.
Slam the door shut and don't hesitate.
