Neck injury on my goose

I have a female goose that got injured on her neck , it’s finally starting to heal good, but I noticed that when she drinks or eats it is coming out of a I guess a puncture wound on the back side of her neck , everything is healing nicely but I don’t know how to close that wound up and make sure I don’t block what she stinks and eats to getting to her stomach , looking for suggestions as to the best way to do it without traumatizing her even more

That sounds awful, sorry she was injured.

How long has it been since she sustained the injury?

Are you in the US? Is vetrinary care an option for you?

I would recommend a vet if not I would disinfect the area, pluck any small feathers that are in the immediate wound area, apply clear super glue around the edge of the puncture and then hold it closed for a good minute or two. You will definitely need someone to help hold her so you get the super glue in the right place.
