Neck waving

Good morning everyone. I have a question about the behavior of one of my Pullets. She waves her neck in a lowered back and forth motion and she only does it while cuddling the other coop mate she was raised with. It's like a caressing but it also looks like mating swans...my gut says not wry neck and it has only happened a few times. Keep in mind my girls are 5.5 wks and are establishing who's gonna be the Alpha and Beta in my 2 bird (so far) flock. Ya'll be proud of me. I went to feed store yesterday and did NOT leave with baby chicks. They had week old Rhodies but I resisted. I want to get these girls settled in for one season then i will let them raise me some meat birds in the spring.
And another thing. Having done much research on care and breeds, i was able to recognize that my dark girl was Not in fact an Australorp as i had been told when purchased. At 1 month she , Matilda, had the distinct markings of a Barred Rock. Thot I had an Aussie but i got a fine bird who is family now. I gave up on the DIY doghouse coop and said (cuss word) "i'm gettin one online." It came today. Yeehah. So they will graduate next week from slightly heated junior suite to 2 story cedar coop and run. They've been free ranging along back fence under trees and have had a growth spurt but are healthy and happy.
Any guidance on swan dance would be helpful. Beatrice of Orpington and Matilda the Rockstar
Ciao for now.
