Neck wound healing

I posted before to see if there was anything else I could do to help my wounded chick.

Now I'm wondering if her healing looks normal. Are the white bumps new feathers coming in?

Have you coated the area or is it staying that wet? I also don't know what the original injury was. I take it that this is a repost from a previous injury. If you have earlier pictures it would be easier to make a comparison.

I found the original post and looked at the pictures. To me it appears to be healing well. I would consider using something like blukote or no pick when you are ready to return to the flock. Have you been able to determine the cause?

After looking at your original pictures I wonder if it may be fungal, which would likely itch as well. Since it won't hurt I'd be inclined to try an anti fungal ointment with miconazole in it to see if it helps.

It looks wet because of polysporin.
I'm not sure what the original injury was from.
