Culled the pullet. She was silently choking and I couldn't dislodge it. She began tio convulse. The Cockerel still doing ok, but does have a twitch. Will this be perminant?

Well 2 chicks of the flock (4+months old) are hanging on by a thread... I desperately need tio get them FULLY off ground. The Cockerel was burried in mud. I never saw him till mud moved. He was drowning in mud. I quickly got him and shook him upside down as I went tio the water. Washed him off, squirted water in his mouth and shook it out until it was clear. I then passed him to my mom where he was lifeless. She began drying him off while I got the pullet from off the chicken patio. She was in much better shape then the Cockerel, but still hanging by a thread. They are under a heat lamp and I force fed and watered them (carefully of course because of their air way) and the roster is standing. Wobbly, but standing, they are both thin and the roosters eyes are getting splotchy like his brothers... I can't wait to get through the worst of all this
I did find a lot of lice on them, so that will be treated as well.. I can't wait till we get them back off ground! I never thought out would cause this much damage

I'm sorry to hear about your cockerel and pullet.
The only think you can do is try to keep the cockerel warm and dry. Offer him some electrolytes and see how he's doing over the next 24hrs. There's no way to know if the damage is permanent or not.
I notice you mentioned that you have a lot of mud and they were floundering and stuck in that. Are you keeping them under the covered run portion that you previously posted a photo of? I understand there's been a lot of rain, but can you divert water away from that so it can stay drier. The platform seems to have a lot of mud on it too, maybe scrape that off and add some straw. Leave a couple of bales intact so they can get on those to get their feet dry. Pallets can be sometimes found for free so check your craigslist or even ask at Tractor Supply if they have any to give away.
Getting them up and out of the mud will be healthier for them.
What did you use to treat for the lice?

I'm sorry to hear that you lost the cockerel
A solid platform? How much rain do you get?
Personally, I think they would be better to have access to dirt to scratch in, the water just needs to be diverted so it's not wet/swampy all the time.
Standing on wood platform, you may end of with some foot problems.
Adding straw can help during wet weather, but it would need to be cleaned up and refreshed.
Where do they sleep at night? Do they have any perches to roost on?
Better wood than that mud, until drainage can be rectified...then wood platform can be removed.A solid platform? How much rain do you get?
