Yeah, we haven't had issues with the wood platform. It might get wet, but they don't sit in water and mud. We scrape it off and put hay down for them.

I did find silver in some of the hens eyes and one had a cloudy eye at the pupil. I did capture atl 16 chickens to change bandages or remove bandages by myself today. So thwart is done as well. I do need to buy another feeder for $70 though. The other one isn't enough for so many chickens. Holds way more then enough, just not enough room.

I don't think my 1 year old Orloff was impressed about bandage changing

My 6 year old Blue Andalusian Cross wasn't as worried, since she knows the,drill

My 3 year old Buff Orpington on the other hand.. Well, she's not too impressed, but not overly worried

Here are some birds from yesterday!! They are so much harder to get pictures of now lol.
This girl is my 6 year old Blue Andalusian Cross.

These babies are a Black Copper Maran Pullet and a Barred Chocolate English Orpington Cockerel.

This is my mom's Mottled Lavender English Orpington Hen.

Then 1 of our Russian Orloff Hens.

This girl is the boss of all!!! I believe she is molting. She's always molted at the oddest times.

Hello everyone! Now that I had a chance to get pictures for an update, my cockerels have decided it’s time to start the beginning of maturiting. So of course there was blood, everyone is ok though as I checked everyone. Nothing serious has been done thankfully. Will be keeping an eye on everyone!
Here are pictures, please excuse the “blood”.

Everyone is doing amazing though! We will not be letting birds leave here. If any come in, they will be vaccinated. However, won’t be leaving here.
