One of my Light brahma hen aged 18 months died this morning.
She was suffering from an unknown probem. She was apparently healthy eating and drinking fine laying eggs but she tends to get tired very quickly and start panting after a short exertion. I followed the typical path of treatment
Checked for lice
De wormed her
Kept her on sulpha drug for 3 on 2 off 2 on days
flushed her kidneys after sulfa drug.
But unfortunately she died sometimes at night.
I cut her opened and could not see anything unusual except for heart.
Please be so kind to have a look at the pics and let me have your opinion if she was suffering from paricardium.
