Need a Calm QUIET Rooster Breed if there is such a thing !!

Yep. I processed an 8 or 7 yr old male last spring, but that's more because I was changing males and his feathers wouldn't come back in after a bad more infestation when he was a yearling. He wasn't showable and getting older, I was worried about fertility even with a new pullet.

The aggressive hens went to a friend who wanted them, and he had watched them grow up so he was more than aware that they liked their blood offerings fresh 😅. They laid decently though considering they were the same age as the male I culled. I wonder if he still has then or if this winter was too hard on them.....

That's an old chicken.

My sumatra pullet is bossy, but not aggressive.

I have an OEGB X Sumatra chick. Demon is a Daddy.

Have you considered a Swedish flower rooster? I have zero issues with human aggressions and they are calm.

They crow the most in the morning. But it's not constant. And throughout the day 1 or 2 crows, at dusk they crow to tell the hens to get in the coop. Just my observation of my own rooster.

But all rooster will crow, some are very loud and some are not. Or you can try a laughing crow rooster. Ayam ketawa. There's YouTube videos of the volume and pitch of there crows.
