Need a cheap solar night light for my coop

Those are great. I want about 8 of those. One for my bedroom, one for the bathroom, kitchen, front room, goat barn, horse stall, duck and chick coops too. I will try to cut down on using electricity in the house at night. I have seen solar chargers for the laptop. That would be nice too

I really like my solar post lamp. It was around $40. I got it from biglots not sure if they have stores where you live.

We have a light mounted on our garage that shines thru the gable vent in our coop (see my BYC page). It turns on a dusk and off at dawn and has for the last 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) years... we have never replaced the bulb. You can buy them at Menards (like Home Depot or Lowes). The bulbs are not much but not sure how much for the fixture would cost... GREAT investment.

Edited........forgot to say that it is a Mercury vapor light.

Thanks, guys! Lots of excellent thrifty ideas. I am gonna go check out some hardware store first, to see if I can find a really cheap one, if not, on to Walmart!
