I just went to the Home Page on BYC.com and clicked on the Coop design pages and selected which size I wanted (small, med or large) and then I picked one I really liked, and printed out their instructions, added my own ideas to my design and i'm starting to build it right now. Totally free- and most of the coop designs give you good pictures on step by step how to do it. I got ideas from a few different coops and put them together. I would recommend browsing them and picking one out. Use treated lumber for any exposed wood, use exterior 3 inch screws to assemble, and the rest is up to your imagination. I'm building my coop on 4X4X8 posts and modeling it somewhat off the medium sized Mid Life Crisis coop- but with a diff roof that will hang out over part of the run.
