Hi, all. I am a novice at this. I have been wanting to have a few chickens for eggs for a long time but had to research a lot because I am not really supposed to have chickens were I live, although some of my neighbors do. I would love 3 or 4 of the quieter varieties, such as Silkies, light Brahmas, Bantam Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas amongst the preferred choices. In other words, I want to "fly under the radar". I have a good size fenced yard, with a large shade tree and intend to wire off a portion of the yard for the chickens and add a coup. I was wondering if someone in Central Florida has some female chicks of the above varieties for sale. I would also appreciate feedback from fellow crazy people who are getting away with this : ) Thank you for your help.
 
Haha good luck! I have 25 silkie eggs hatching right now! You can have as many as you want! : )
