It's just stupid teenager problems. I found out a few weeks ago that my only friends were saying mean things about me behind my back, and I've been struggling to cope with it. I don't even know why they did it, when i have been nothing but nice to them.

And I'm not sure why but I've been getting upset about my birds. I'm stuck in a situation where I have to cull one of them or hatch more birds if I couldn't sell it, but I don't have the space for more. I keep all of them as pets, and it's not something to get upset about but I still do.

If I had to cull a pet bird, yes, I'd be upset. Pets are friends, and having to put one down for any reason is upsetting. What you're going through is upsetting. You don't have to make excuses or apologize for your feelings.

People tend to say mean things or make fun for two reasons, they're either jealous or are very insecure of themselves. And sometimes it's both, especially with teenage girls It really sucks when your "friends" are doing that, you expect better from them, as you should. Keep your head up and have confidence in who you are.
a good friend sticks with you, not stabs you.

Having to put down a pet always hurts, whether it's a dog, cat, or birds. It's the unfortunate part of having them in our lives. There's nothing wrong with being upset about it, especially when a difficult choice has to be made. Animal lovers understand it, I've cried over plenty of loved pets.

If culling is the only option left, getting it done and over might be best. We're here for you in spirit, handing out internet hugs

My whole class hates me I'm mostly friends with the year above

You may as well just be friends whith the birds they won't say mean things (they will judge you) but at least you don't have a cat that looks at you like your crazy
