Need a little moral support..introducing new girls to the flock tonight

Do you have a way of sectioning off a portion of your coop and putting the new ones on a roost behind the secured section.

Once they are more used to each other and the new ones have "their" space, you can take the divider down, but leave the roost. Make sure the new roost is not any higher than the ones your birds are currently on.

Hello! Thank you for your reply. I'm afraid I don't really have that. There is one large perch that wraps around the coop. That would be great!

It isn't until after you have chickens for awhile that you wish you had a bigger coop. I know that was the case with me!
