My sister and hubby raise meat birds. Last night something got to them. (they forgot to close them in their house.)
One bird was dead with insides eaten out. There is another that has a serious wound. It appears to be suffering.

Before we "off it" my sis wants to know if that meat can be eaten. This happened sometime last night cause a neighbor heard the commotion, but didn't know about it till a little while ago.

I personally probably wouldn't eat it.
    Thanks for responses. [IMG]

I would put it out of it's misery & use it for pet food. I suppose you could eat it, but I wouldn't there's not telling what I wild animal could be carrying in it's saliva.

I guess feeding it to the dogs may possibly pose a threat too don't you think?

Oh and thank you, that was my thought too, but I needed another opinion. [IMG]
