NEED A SMALL COOP THING FOR MY BROODY HEN!!

I recently broke my broody hen by placing her in a wire cage I'd used as a run when they were chicks -- hardware sloth on all six sides with a door on one side -- with only food and water, and I kept her in the run with everyone else during the day and put her on the roost with everyone at night, then back in the cage in the morning. It took two full days, and when she was done, she blended right back in as though nothing had ever happened.

I read a thread where a guy lost a broody hen in the heat because, she sat on a warm nest and got too hot. That concerns me because one of my silkies is broody again. So I got out an old rabbit hutch, put plastic hardware cloth in the bottom to make it a little more comfortable. I put it in the run. It's in the shade, part of it is in the fan/mister "path way". Of course there's water and food. She was pretty upset with me when I put her in it this morning. This afternoon she has calmed down some and has eaten. The other two hen's are hanging around her cage keeping her company. I think that's kind of sweet. I hope with works. I'm going to let her out in the morning and see how she does.
