Need a very experienced opinion, possible shrink wrap.

Both Levi and Moose are doing awesome!! These pine shavings are a mess! Getting in their feathers and in their water, so I'm dumping the shavings and putting down puppy pads!

Here are today's pics....

I was told the farmer gave me Embden geese and Pekin duck. However, these babies don't look like either?

Awww, your babies are precious! I think I need better lighting! That one on the right is really dark, and the others are lighter for sure. But looking at mine, I'm still unsure. I have another one pipping externally now, hopefully it will be a different shade to help me determin.

Those aren't my babies i found these pics on line[bing] just to give you an idea of shading and how baby Embdens look. I may have some to share first of June since my goose is now sitting. Look forward to seeing your next gosling too, and I really like your incubator looks like a real good one. Are you keeping both goslings along with your duckling?

Glad he got out safely. The reason I thought it would be a good idea to help him a little is because I had a pigeon egg that started hatching and then stopped and by the time I got the nerve to try and help the baby had already died from being shrink wrapped!

It´s so sad, isn´t it, when we decide to wait and it goes wrong...I lost a gosling once because I hoped the new mum goose would be ok, but she was too keen and killed it. another time I´d hoped the mum wouldn´t crush the gos, but she did....both lost because I didn´t intervene. Well, there ya go.......you just have to decide and do what you feel is best.

We are raising the duck and geese for a petting farm. The kids will play with them all summer, or for as long as they want, then we return them to the farm. I may go out to the farm this weekend and pick up some more eggs since I will have an empty bator.

I can't wait to see your babies in June!!!!

Lightchick, I was totally going to step in if it hadn't turned around and zipped! I really appreciate your help. I'm a complete noob and this is my first hatch ever!!
