Need advice administering Amoxiclavin to a 5-week Frizzle

How quickly can liquid Amoxiclavin start to relieve respiratory issues in a 5-week old Frizzle? Prescription for 14 days, but how soon might I notice improvement? Eating, drinking, pooping, but very sleepy and lethargic-in transit shipping lasted 2 full days. In my care for 3 days and lethargic- second day one eyelid swelled, shut, 3rd day, today, 2nd eye swelled shut. I took Frizzle to an Avian/Exotic Vet specialist this afternoon. COVID meant I could not watch/ or see how to administer syringe dosage in the office so watched the vet's how-to videos. It's a very skinny syringe on a very fuzzy small chick. First timer having to do this and administered once today mid-afternoon. Found it tough to gage how far down the right side of the chick's throat to put the syringe on a not-too-happy chick!

Stick the tip of the syringe down into the esophagus (food tube) and give it slowly. Here is a good article about that and look at number 7:
