need advice and tips on incubator please

I candle them only about 3 times, the last is day 18, so I know how many are still good. When I candled this time 2 were pipped through the air cell on day 18, and I've never seen any like that before. I have never cracked any open to see if they pipped the aircell.

I think your temps are a little high. I think for still air it should be about 100.5-101.

I installed a fan on mine, and it works wonders keeping the temp and humidity stablized!

I am having exactly the same problem. Dry hatching and everything goes good till the very last few days. I turn by hand and stop on day 18 i candle as i turn them for the last time and most of them usually look good, still have movement and if any hatch they are early by a day and they seem weak when they hatch early. And if they dont hatch on day 20 they dont hatch at all. I have opened several eggs after day 22 -23 and they are almost always fully developed but dead. So i guess my question is what else can i do my humidity stays in the low 40s then if i add any water when i go to lockdown the humidity jumps into the high 80s so i end up having to open a vent or should i leave it that high? I am new to all this I have only set eggs 4 times and still cant seem to get it right. Oh yeah and i have already moved my bator to a closet so no temp fluctuations around it.

Sorry this is so long and sorry to highjack a thread it just seemed we are having the same problems
