NEED ADVICE: Day 3 with sick hen

Thanks, Eggcessive. We have her on Tetracycline (since Sunday afternoon). I did not get Safeguard for her. Here's a picture of how she is laying.



She's been laying like this all day long today. She goes through spasms where she looks like she is trying to get up or move but can't. Yesterday she was actually up on her feet a little bit (after several days of being lethargic) and pecking at food (after several days of being fed by syringe) but today she is acting completely different. :-(

I would suspect that she may have Mareks disease unfortunately. It is a virus that is all over, and does not have any known treatment. It is hard to say if she will get better if that is what is wrong. Make sure she has food and water near her, just support her. I would probably try to get a necropsy done by your state vet if she dies, just so you would know the cause.
