A few days ago, a different hen killed its only baby after four days. I need advice on if i should move the current hen to her own spot, who hatched one ,the rest of eggs were no good
Previously, i placed the murderous broody in a coop to themselves after a day or two. I just dont want this one killing its baby, too.

Eggsperts, ADVICE PLEASE!!

I'd wait and see.
Just because one hen is a terrible mother, doesn't mean this one will be bad.

But the baby in nesting box with no access to water or food how long can baby survive without water or food, is my main concern

Its just a basic coop idk about a foot and half off ground with roosts and two nesting boxes should i move them to my coop where it can drink and eat as it pleases?

I squeeze in a little jar lid or tiny bowl with chick feed, Plus, a pint jar waterer (the red plastic rings that screw onto jars from Tractor Sup.) against a corner or wall. Actually, a jarlid of water at first, Dip their beak in it if need be. They need food and water soon.

Is the mama and chicks separated from the rest of the flock?
Just put out chicks sized feeder and waterer, mama will show it how to eat.

Yes i should keep the hen (black copper maran,) and new chick separated since it was hatched just a few days ago?

The one who killed its baby is some tupe of small bantam and super uptight and well, to put it she is simply manic even before going broody. She was fine until day 4 then i noticed baby on floor with a snapped neck :/
