I’d recommend it. The wound looks like it’s starting to heal but I’d want it checked anyway. They might be able to offer you some different treatments too. This is a possibility.

Sounds like she's doing o.k.This is encouraging! Good news is she rested and ate a lot yesterday and the crying out subsided. If she picks back up again I will get a video. When I went to do her wound care this morning it seemed to be more painful for her to open her wing than previously. I'm wondering if it is just because it is healing over. I bought some low does Aspirin- would you use this as a last resort?
She is slowly starting to be able to! Her wound looks way better, no crying chirps, and no longer limping!!I’d recommend it. The wound looks like it’s starting to heal but I’d want it checked anyway. They might be able to offer you some different treatments too.

She is, and better with each day! So grateful. Thank you so much, did not end up needing to use the aspirin.Sounds like she's doing o.k.
Keep the wound moist with the ointment, a deep wound like that is going a good while to heal.
If she can manage without the aspirin, imho, it would be best, but yes, if I felt one was in extreme pain, I would give aspirin for a day or two.
This is great. How is it looking? She is slowly starting to be able to! Her wound looks way better, no crying chirps, and no longer limping!!
Looking so much better! The white part is almost gone and it is shrinking. Almost looks like it may peel off as the skin is healing underneath. Chicks are resilient! This is great. How is it looking?
