Need advice. Introducing 2 hens to flock.

There is a person who needs to rehome 2 one year old ee's and I already have 11 hens of mixed kind and one roo and wondered how is the best way to put these 2 birds with my flock? Coop is plenty big and plenty of roost space

people say you should keep them seperate for 30 days to make sure they arnt ill, i never do. I just put my hens straight in, but what you could do is put them in at night or put a crate in the coop so they can see each other through it

I agree. I would quarantine any new birds for at least a month. I know people who haven't and their whole flocks were wiped out from diseases brought in by the new birds. You can't always tell right away. When I do introduce new birds after quarantine, I either do it in the evening when they go to roost for the night or when I let them out for a supervised free range with lots of treats.
