I was offered a couple 3 month old peafowl. Am I asking for trouble if I add them to the coop of chickens? Do they get along? My birds are healthy and laying. The peafowl are the only 2 birds of the other property and am told they are healthy also. I don't want the chickens picking on the peafowl or the peafowl picking on the chickens for that matter. I would expect a drop in egg production with the addition to the "family"...just don't want to end up regretting it. DH would LOVE the new birds...wanted them in spring already. I may have to give in to a neighbor down the road that has offered to buy some of my buffs to make room, though. Any thoughts or experience??
