Need advice on best wormer from prelim results on Necropsy

I have the hens separated from the roosters - what else do you think it could be? I had to separate, because I have more roosters than what is good for that mix, so I have 5 boys together - and never let them with the girls. Boris the rooster gets to be with the pullers, just because he will leave them alone - but he will get his own flock soon. This hen has looked this way since December - so I thought it was her going through a molt - it may be her first, or maybe not. I got her as an adult.

I think you said that you checked for lice and mites, but they can be very hard to see, so you might want to check again.

I didn't check her - but another in her flock. She's going to be a little difficult, she's afraid of people. I will grab her tonight, with some help, since I'm going to give her the liquid wormer and check her from head to toe. She's the only one with this feather issue, out of 10 other hens.

So can I give the safeguard to the ones who received Waxine on Friday morning? The Waxine was in the water - so I feel like I can't know for sure the roosters got enough of it, and Waxine only only gets the roundworms. So is it ok to give them the safeguard tonight directly in the mouth?

I didn't treat the laying hens though - so this will be the first thing they are getting since I found out officially worms killed my rooster.

I would give it orally to all of them for 5 days in a row.

Will do Kathy - thank you! Not going to be fun - as there are17 adults - but I will get help. The pullets are 13 weeks - they had Waxine on Friday. Do you think a one time dose will do for them? With a follow up dose in 30 days?

If the have something other than large roundworms or cecal worms, like gizzard worms, probably best to treat for 5 days. Some people will follow up in ten days, some people do not. Can you call the vet that did the necropsy for advice?

He said volosum, so he may have meant Valbazen - I'm just wondering if the pullets should be on it for 5 days. I will do a repeat dosage at 10 days for all regardless.
