I'm sorry that I don't have experience with Calls. However, when I was waiting for my ducklings to hatch and knew they had already internally pipped, I used a flashlight to get them to slightly rock. I didn't want to open the incubator lid in order to listen to them tap (or not). By shining an LED flashlight on each egg through the incubator window, each one would eventually start to rock a bit (after a minute or two of being in the "spotlight").
