Need advice on lockdown

Just had my first external pip! At 5:11pm. I was actually watching the eggs moving when the first one pipped! Ugh, I feel like a kid waiting to go on vacation or something! I can’t stop watching them! We are 7 hours into day 21!

So, with the packaging, yes, we filed a claim. And of the 4 packages I got in the last month, all said on box to call for pick-up. Never got one call from PO.

Hatch Update: all 5 eggs have pipped! And one of them has started zipping already! So excited! 2 pipped on wrong end, but going to wait and see how they do... remember, these had some crazy air cells. So I will be staring at my Bator all day! Thank God it’s Saturday!!!

CRossing my fingers for your eggs!!

I've got one egg piped on day 21. Dose any one know if shipping eggs will sometimes take a little longer? I went with laying them on there sides out of the tray.

Heres the one pipped, I put two of my marans eggs in there for control lol to make sure I did ok. One maran has hatched and one has piped. So praying the rest of these opal legbar pip today!

And meet our new silkie/showgirl/possible sizzle babies!!! Actually got a video and both kids got to watch the first one hatch. They all hatched on day 22. I was so worried all day during day 21. A couple got stuck zipping with their weird air cells or malposition, so I had to assist. But everyone is doing amazing!!! Can’t believe all 5 hatched! So proud! And all 5 are a different color! Thank you BYC for all the amazing info. Especially about shipped eggs with damaged air cells. I read AS much as I could and was successful! So proud!

Good luck! I just dealt with this! Worrying... lol. None of mine pipped until day 21 and then it wasn’t until the 22nd day that they started zipping. Can’t wait to see your babies!

And btw, these are 2 of the eggs that hatched... crazy air cells! But listening to people on here and reading Sally Sunshine’s guide on assisting a hatch, and they made it! So don’t lose all hope if you get some shipped eggs that have bad air cells. Just be prepared to possibly help
