Need advice on moving a 'wild' hen and her nest

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too. Would it be better to do it at night or keep an eye on her and do it when she gets up? She would be able to see me from the run.

I'd do it when she leaves the nest (you could close the coop door to block her sight - assuming thats possible), but no reason not to go with the night idea - whichever suits you best.

I'm so excited this morning, the eggs are hatching!

So far two are out and two more are clearly busy hatching. I can't see more than that without disturbing the hen but it's looking good so far.

Thanks to everyone for their support and tips (here and on other BYC threads). I'll post a final update with pics when they're all hatched and settled.
