Need advice on possible small bumble by toenail

I soaked her again this afternoon and the scab came off pretty easily. I didn't see much else in there, it bled and I painted it with colorless iodine and packed with with antibiotic ointment. I was able to bandage it with gauze and about half a mile of vet-wrap!

Hey that looks great. Hopefully getting the scab off and meds on it will clear it up. That wrap looks great and I think we should all buy stock in vet wrap. When I said tape I meant vet wrap yep that's what I use too and sometimes paper tape even over that.

Did you massage the toe to see if you could get anything out? I'm sure you did but when my Runner had her bumble I had to massage a bunch to get that bumble out.

I have them they worked great when my Runner had bumble but I had to reinforce the Velcro with tape. They can get out of just about anything I bought from Crazy K and didn’t get the completely closed in shoe

@CoriM you are so good at wrapping duck feet!

If you get tired of wrapping, or that isn't working for you let me know if you want to borrow my closed toe duck boots. My vet just told me mine were too big for my biggest duck! So now they are kind of useless for me.

@KaleIAm Thanks Kale! I'll let you know. So funny, when I ordered my open toed ones I got a size too big and they never stayed on my duck. I ended up rebandaging her today but I think I might be able to let her go without tomorrow. It was a pretty small area and more on the front of the toe than bottom. I bought this bumblefoot tincture from Moonlight Mile Herb and so I'm trying that - fingers crossed!
