Need advice on the problems of introducing new chickens!

Hey,
Was hoping that everyone could pitch in and let me know the do's and dont's of introducing new chickens.
-Young being introduced with older chickens
- Same age chickens being introduced
-Dominant chickens being introduced
- Submissive chickens being introduced
Only hen on hen introductions, not roosters.
Your advice is greatly appreciated!

Do it at night once they are ready to roost. Then make sure to let them out FIRST THING in the am. Either way, someone's gonna get a butt whoopin'. Just make sure you are there to observe very closely for a good while. I haven't had too much of a problem yet. It can be scary, but they are chickens, just chickens. They will have to establish the pecking order. I make sure that they all know that I am the alpha during all of this. When you let them range make sure to give them plenty of things to keep they occupied: scratch, fresh greens, yogurt, etc. I introduced 3 older pullets (5 mo) to my six little 9 week olds. There was some arguing at first, but they are totally fine nowl

Do a search on here for integrating new chickens to an existing flock. You will get a lot of really good tips.
