Long story short I had a broody sitting on these and I have no CLUE why they are hatching later...but I candled after she hatched 3 and abandoned all these and they all had chicks in them so I had incubator up and put them all in (ONE thing that could have been off is that another mom started laying on them and gave up but they started same day and I just put them under the other mom but maybe temp difference? IDK...
One came out early and has yolk out a good bit
maybe nickel, dime size? I'll try adding pic...but now everyone else is trying to hatch and idk what to do with the poor chick. I don't want him/her trampled on but I read to try and keep it in there so it can TRY and absorb rest and see if it will live? All the eggs are pipped and working so I don't want to lift lid either...I had him in a cup upright with moist paper towels and thought he was pretty secure but I guess he needed a seatbelt bc the little bugger got out somehow?
Anyways, ANY advice I would appreciate! Trying to keep him on paper towels too but yea, that's not going so well either...he all over the place scooting...
