Nothing from my other egg in that batch yet and can no longer see any movement with it, I believe it may have died. 1 out of 2 that made it to lock down not the best but not the worst on shipped eggs. Im just happy it was not a complete waste! I have 1 very nice healthy active baby!

Hi There,
Glad to see one egg hatched.......but in the future, deepending on your incubation temp it can take an extra day or two for the hatch or even a day or two earlier as well. Keep in mind, when people use the term "lockdown" that's exactly what it means. Too many people panic and open the incubator to candle after lockdown. Each time that is done it effects the hatch.......and NOT in a good way. My advise is this.......unless you can "visibly" see a chick struggling then don't do anything unless it's been a good day or two over-due and you still hear chirping.
