Need Advise ASAP

I have about a 2 to 3 month old pekin duck having seizures and don't know what to do. yesterday he had 2 to were he was trying to run in to walls and his neck was all bent outta hack. today he has had 5 to 6 ..one was when I was holding him and he felt so lifeless but then came too....we are so a wreck here and don't know what to do. We have only had him about a week today and hes eating duck food I got from the feed store please any advise would be so greatful

Could be a lot of things... Hopefully not what's in this thread but worth checking out the symptoms for a possible match...

I'm wondering if the food is okay and not moldy or old (from feed store). Also he may have a niacin deficiency - ducks are highly susceptible to this.

BYC has a very useful learning center

I ordered some ducks many years ago that had this problem and the out come was bleak but out of the 25 ducks I still have one left so not trying to make you upset just ready ...

Do you have any poison's that have been used around your yard as this can really get to ducks with them web feet ....

I know this sounds silly but a little crushed up charcoal in the feed can clear up poison or slow it down .....

Hopefully he will recover ....
