sometimes we can't get any perspective on a situation we're in until we get enough distance to *have* some perspective. sad for your ex, but the relationship wasn't going anywhere for him either. maybe this shakeup in his life will help him find what he really wants and needs as well.

You'll have alot of fun in your new life. Date, but don't get tied down with anyone. Find out what and who you want to be and what and who you want to be with. You are young, and this is the time to explore the whole world of people out there.
