While feeding my flock this evening, I noticed one of my hens acting funny. She was acting like she was trying to push an egg out, but I didn't see any egg coming out only a pink bulge. Any idea what is going on??? I am worried about her.

I would worry that she either egg bond or if the pink bulge is still hanging she prolapse I know when there bound their tail end looks like they are trying to poop or lay if they are bound soaking them keeping them hydrated and calcium supplements help usually you can feel an egg if it's stuck

We soaked her in warm water for 10 mins and gave her some calcium supplements . I don't see the pink bulge anymore. Thank you frankiefeathers for the advice. I will be keeping an eye on her tonight.

sounds like a prolapse to me
