That’s so sad.. I’m surprised the vitamin E didn’t help her out, this case is exactly something vitamin E helps with and that’s almost exactly what my hen looked like before the vitamin E saved her. At least she survived last night and if she passes she will be with you. Keep hope up and continue doing research to try everything you can! Feel good that you’ve been trying everything to save her!

I just gave her the vitamin E a little while ago, it was too late last night. She seems to want to keep fighting, I put her in a nesting box up in the coop so she can try to rest with our being out in the open run.

Does she seem like she has an appetite? Like if you put food in front of her does she want to eat or tries to eat it or do you need to force feed her everything

A couple days ago she did but not today. She just so lethargic. I just forced it into her mouth then she could eat it. She seemed to like it, she just didn’t have the energy to peck and try.

Does she seem alert? Like if you clap or shout does she wake up and look around the area For a little or is she just totally out of it

No, she’s not completely out of it, she tries to move around but she can’t really. She looks up sometimes. She just droops her head all the way down word of underneath her.

Photo from when she was on the porch about an hour ago. She is back in the coop.

Is her vent clean? If she were mines I would honestly just in case put DE on her and in the coop If I tried everything and still don’t know what to do. syringe feed her electrolytes or apple cider vinegar/garlic water As well. If you don’t have a syringe, dip her head in and force her to drink she needs to stay hydrated

I tried to syringe but she wouldn’t cooperate. It worked better to dip her head. I’ll make her drink some more before bed at least twice. I can check her vent, but I don’t think it’s abnormally dirty. I will try to also do DE.
