Update: Well I dont need any more answers on this topic...my baby chicks got mudered last night
By the fur left behind we thought is was a opossum. So we sat out in the dark last night to catch it in action...but it was 2 feral cats!!!
They got in my coop and killed all 4 babies!!!
They went right to the place they got in the first time.
We almost got them...but they got away!
This county is completely overrun by feral cats and complaints to this city are constant..and yet they do NOTHING about it!!!
These cats looked frail and diseased too!!!

Thank you. Its my first loss to predators. The hard part was telling my 4 year old grand daughter that played with them 6 days a week. Thank goodness it happened on the day she wasnt visiting.
