Need chicken environment enrichment

It's a block of seeds and stuff all stuck together with molasses, meant as a treat and boredom buster. I buy them on rare occasion if there's a spell of bad weather like prolonged snow but I generally don't like using food as entertainment.

I would say it's ok sparingly. Obviously suet is pretty much just solid fat, and chickens don't need excess fat in their diet.

More 'junk food'.
Really, many keepers feed their chickens too.much.stuff....
.....and their dogs and cats too, thus obese and unhealthy pets.

Do they really play with the abacus? I never thought of adding children's toys. Such a good idea.

They do play with kid toys. Anything that is colorful or moves, spins, makes noise. I’m on the search for the old school tin xylophone to hang up. I’ve seen videos of birds pecking making music!
