I need to deworm my girls. Getting poopy butts and fecal came back positive for roundworms. I have the liquid wormer to put in their water, but not sure if I have the math right for dosing. My flock weighs 47 pounds collectively and when I do the math, it comes to 0.10ml. Can someone experienced with using this double check me on that and let me know if this is the correct dosage??

Also, do I just take it out of the bottle with the syringe and put it directly into their waterer and mix it well? Does it matter how big the waterer is? I am using a 3 gallon container for this. Will that dilute it too much?? The insert & box that came with it apparently got misplaced or accidently thrown out so I don't have it to read if this is the correct way to give it. TIA!

Thanks @Wyorp Rock. My math was a tiny bit off by their weight, but now I am confused as to the amount of water to use to dilute it in. I have 9 girls and their collective weight is 47 pounds. I need some clarification on the dilution. According to their weight, I'd use 4 cups, but according to the number of hens I have it says to use 8 cups of water. That's a BIG difference. I don't want to dilute this too much and waste it. Which amount of water do I use AND would I only give them the 4 or 8 cups TOTAL of water? I have no idea how long it would take for them to drink that and I don't want them to run out of water during the day.
