Need coop plans

They are about 5 weeks old. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will have something permanent.

Only temporarily. She will be back in soon. Fixed her a new pen and shelter over her house. Haven’t got that many dirty looks since I accidentally cut down the wife’s favorite blooming Bush 25 years ago.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I am taking them all in consideration. Wife is getting her pulleys Saturday so I had to come up with something quick. So with some scrap tin, old fence panel and evicting my dog to a new location this is what I came up with so far. Roost are limbs off some of my cedars. Pen is 5 x 5. Run is 10 x 10.

If your winter is mild, a cattle panel hoop coop is fairly easy and can be closed in as much or as little as you want.

If you want a good sized shed type coop, I would take a look at the Woods coop or Woods Poultry house design. Lots of good ventilation. Search this forum there are a few examples. I built an 8x12 and love it. It can be done as a 6x10 too.

Cattle panel hoops sound interesting. Have several panels. Thoughts about adapting a building like this. It is an 8 x 8.
