Need Dog Name

My dogs names are often based off of personality/looks as well

. Often when people ask for a name, I never give a hint until I've seen the dog. Usually though as a result, I come up with a good name that fits the dog well. I've got a German Shepherd named "Roman", I think it fits him well.

God bless,
Daniel.

I especially like names that give me something to say to the dog in my best ooey gooey puppy voice...
"who's my good peter dog? did you pick a peck of pickles petey boy?"

we kind of keep a mythology theme going. Loki, Rayden, Freya. Now we have Singe, full name Brsingr, from the Inheritance Cycle. If he had been a girl, his name was going to be Saphira. Of course, when/if I ever get to the point of breeding GSDs, it will be called "Dragonfire Kennels" and my attempt at professional photography is "Dragonfire Images"

Wow! We've been kicking names around all afternoon and this is the one we like best! The reason for a "P" name is our Great Pyrenees is named Paris, our Aussie is named Polly, our daughter's/granddaughter's weiner dog is named Pedro. Then to top it off, the kids also adopted a 8 month old Yorkie and she was named Pippa.

We called him Pickles, Peyton, Pepper, Paco and Pogo. Parker just had that right ring to it.

Parker is crate trained, so we got a crate for him. He will tinkle in the house, so we take him outside a lot. Paris, the GP tried to take his head off when introduced, ( one of us held Parker on a leash and I held Paris) we let them sniff a few minutes, scolded when Paris snarled and they parted on friendly terms. Pedro the mini-weiner is MEAN!!! Pedro rules

Polly is being semi-nice, she lifts up a pretty lip in a dainty silent snarl. Right now my husband is educating Parker all about saltine crackers. Parker sat politely, but half way took DH's fingers with the cracker treat. Parker is learning "easy".

The water bowl got empty, I asked Parker if he wanted WATER, he gave me an intense stare, I repeated WATER several times and he barked for water. Hooray!!! The Lab-lip-water-drool-on-the-floor is BACK!!

I am actually looking forward to stepping in a water-drool puddle in my sock feet.

Parker took right up with my husband when he got here. I left work, my Mom came over and we all drove up at the same time as our daughter and son-in-law. It was a complete and total surprise. When DH sat in his recliner, Parker jumped in his lap and laid his head on DH's chest. My husband melted.

Parker is glossy black, a gangly puppy galumphing through the house. He just laid on the floor at DH's feet. We are excited, can you tell?

yay!! i dont know why but when i read your thread the only p name i could think of was parker!! do we get to see a pic??
