I don't think spraying or dusting Dotty will hurt much...if he has bugs on him they need to go.Thank you so much for sticking this our with me, KikisGirls!
I know it is ultimately my decision and responsibility but it means a lot (!!!) not to be all alone when having to face these decisions
I know it is not that bad when you consider what else is going on in the world, but at the moment, when you are in the middle of it, it can be overwhelming
we love our birds and there just is not enough information to make easy decisions - so many things are a best guess and they often die in the end, so it is easy to second guess yourself and be upset - I guess that is the lot of poultry lovers
Dotty (the one that was real sick last week) got back on his feet yesterday - so happy - he is still super-thin but looks like he will live for now!
I am trying to get this done tonight before midnight to get some sleep for a change - already 9:30 pm here - Dotty will not be treated right now until he get a little better still
I just realized it's already past dark there.
Go get busy!
I'd concentrate on the birds tonight and then blast the coop tomorrow morning.
