Need fast, cheap pen/coop ideas

Someone is trading me a Roo for a few of my chicks(he needs to get rid of the roo, I need to get rid of chicks) and I need a place to keep the roo till I have the funds/time to build him a pen, or to see if he gets along with my other boys. I'm in NJ, so no severe weather, apart from some good thunderstorms. I'm looking for the cheapest way possible to keep him contained( to many cats and hawks to let him free range) If weather gets real bad, I can always bring him up into the horse barn. Any ideas? I'd like to have something a bit sturdier than just some chicken wire around poles.

You can try looking on craigslist for some rabbit hutches or maybe you can find a coop if your lucky. Ive seen plenty of free doghouses, rabbit hutches and chicken coops, FREE! on our Seattle craigslist, maybe you can look around for things like that.
