The spurs are itty bitty things on all of them. These peeps will be 4 weeks Tues.
The one in the 3rd pic has the neatest wings. They all have black splashes on their wings. One I noticed has greenish legs and feet.
Dad was a light Brahma and moms are Black, Blue, Buff or Partridge Cochins.
We checked ours, not quite a week old yet, but the roos are already having far more developed spurs. The females will have a welt pr just a hard spot, and roos will have more of an actual spur. Not that accurate, but good for a rough picture.
I wouldn't go off spurs unless they are actually growing, some females even get tiny spurs. I think with the combs being so small it's still hard to tell...I would give it another week and compare the combs and watch the hackle feathers as they grow in... and maybe watch for attempts to crow, then again I have a 4mo. old that is yet to crow but I know for sure he is a roo!
